Level 5: The Endless Hotel

Level 5 is one of the most mysterious levels of the Backrooms. It takes the appearance of a gigantic hotel dating back to the early twentieth century. Explorers encounter vast reception halls, grand staircases, elegant lounges, and endless corridors lined with worn red carpets. The atmosphere is strange and unnervingly quiet. Distant music can sometimes be heard coming from empty rooms, while certain doors lead to impossible spaces that defy mapping. Numerous accounts describe paranormal phenomena such as whispered voices, objects moving on their own, and fleeting apparitions appearing in mirrors. Although some areas are relatively safe, other sections of the hotel are said to harbor dangerous entities. Explorers strongly advise avoiding the upper floors and basement levels, which are considered particularly hostile. Level 5 serves as a major transition point, providing access to many other Backrooms levels.
